OUR PASION

VIA (from Latin) - meaning way or road.

The Romans once ruled over one of the largest empires on earth. At its peak, the empire stretched from northern England to Syria and North Africa.  To maintain control and develop their vast conquered territories, the Romans developed an advanced system of roads that allowed them to efficiently transport armies, civilians, trade goods, and communicate.

Roman engineers were not the first ones to build roads, but they improved their design and perfected their construction to the extent that many of their roads are still in use today. They CREATED BETTER roads.

The Romans also faced many obstacles when designing and constructing their roads, but they always preferred to engineer a solution to the obstacle rather than avoid it by designing around it.

The name VIA is our humble intent to pay tribute to Roman engineering’s spirit of improving upon existing ways of doing things, as well as facing challenges with creative and effective solutions. At VIA, we all share that same spirit - we never shy away from challenges and believe there is always an opportunity for improvement – our passion is to CREATE BETTER.
